Finally finished the outline! Bad quality, it’s hard to take a decent picture of the back of your leg.

I’m currently listening to this. It’s all of the play-by-play, highlights, and interviews of the Philadelphia Flyers ‘74-‘75 championship season and Stanley cup victory, on vinyl. All I can say is that this is pretty fucking awesome to listen to.

"It all happened so fast
Speeding off into the distance
That night I wish you could have taken control
To steer clear from your last breath
Such a short 18 years
Gone in the blink of an eye
Oxygen is escaping
Your fate is embracing
This road tells a story of a life cut short
Sirens are the sound that I hear in the back of my mind
You leaving this world left us falling apart limb by limb
Never getting over the loss of a loved one
That morning we all stood mourning, coming to terms with this reality
I believed the world stopped spinning
To steer clear from your last breath
Such a short 18 years, now gone
I wish you could see me now
You’d be so proud, my dearest friend
I’ll see you again, my dearest friend"

August Burns Red - “Mosley”

All you have to do is change “18 years” to “22 years”, and it perfectly describes my life from August to January when my dad was sick, till he passed away. Seeing my dad go from bad, to good, to really feeling better, then, to seeing the rapid downward spiral his sickness became in the end. I’ve never read something that has been so personal to me in my 22 years of living.

This is probably one of their most least-known songs, and the lyrics of it really hits close to home for me.

It makes you really appreciate life, and to live every day like its your last, to cherish your family and friends, and remember the good times you had with them, because when its all over, memories are all you have left.
